Writing has never been so difficult before

Words flowing bringing with it tears galore

Each time the pen rises

Each time the ink spills

Each time the molecules at the tip kiss the product of a magnificent tree

To immortalize my life’s misery

The heart as wounded as it has ever been

Broken in a thousand pieces as already seen

Pieces now tend to shatter further

Indeed Writing hasn’t been so difficult before

But one day the pen shall rise again

This time though the old ink would have spilled enough

And it would be time to fill in again

New ink to immortalize a new beginning

A new page shall be turned to

And as the ink kisses the paper again

I only hope whatever that remains of my wounded heart is ready enough to take in a new pain all over again
