He walked in

She came too

They blushed and pledged at their rendezvous

Soon it was dusk

With a mischievous smile she left

To never return after committing the theft

A new day, a new adventure

A new heart for her to venture

Fragile his mind was as he stayed there with hope

The single feeling that would account for all the pain, he’d soon have to cope.
