She lived her life like a river
Full of bends and ever changing leads
Never one to stop
And cater to her own needs.
She wasn’t born of a magnificent glacier
Nor ran across the beautiful plains
Wasn’t blessed with abundance
Wasn’t free of the stains.
She went new places
Making each her own
Rejoiced her chaotic misery
Turbulence was forever her home.
She didn’t thrill her highs
As much as people enjoyed her fall
Gracing whatever was offered
She lived providing for them all.
Her spirits unfathomable
As long as the winds continue to blow
She will continue her journey
She will continue to flow.
